LSG Sky Chefs in Jamaica, NY is seeking a Food Production Supervisor to oversee daily cold food production, assembly, and packaging to meet airline specifications and quality standards. Based at JFK Building 139, this on-site role focuses on safe, efficient workflows and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a team, monitor staffing, ensure HACCP/FDA/USDA compliance, and partner with procurement and logistics to keep ingredients flowing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in food production or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Ability to lead and coach a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cold food production, assembly, and packaging per airline specs.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing to meet timelines.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, USDA, and customer requirements.
• Inspect work areas, equipment, and products for safety and quality.
• Train and develop team members to improve performance and engagement.
• Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and logistics for ingredients.
• Identify process-improvement opportunities to reduce waste.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and metrics.
• Address operational issues promptly to minimize service disruption.
