Job summary

TheogCompanies seeks a Shipping Warehouseman in Springfield, OH to operate in a fast-paced warehouse, drive a forklift, and support picking and other non- Forklift tasks. You will work under the Shipping Supervisor, focusing on safety and quality as part of a team.

From day one, benefits, PTO accrual, and a 401(k) are provided with hands‑on training. Required is a high school diploma or GED; prior warehouse and forklift experience is preferred; ability to work in cold environments and strict PPE

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and material handling experience preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Ability to work in cold temperatures (32-35 degrees).
• Must follow PPE protocol (hairnet, hardhat, gloves, smock/ safety vest).
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb and work in confined spaces for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be attentive to any foreign object, or damaged salad bag; notify supervisor.
• Able to work around equipment and machinery.
• Drive and operate forklift.
• Perform picking, consolidating, cleaning, and certain clerical functions as well as other non-forklift activities in the warehouse.
• Complete other picking assignments as instructed by manager/supervisor when not in relief role.
• Adhere to all policies, practices, and SOPs related to producing Safe Quality Food (SQF).
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
