Job summary

National Star Services seeks a Protein Processing Specialist for a client facility in Chicago, IL. This Full-Time Temp-to-Hire role requires working in a cold environment and hands-on processing duties.

You will perform protein processing, follow customer specs, and maintain inventory while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Overtime and first shift 6:00 AM–2:00 PM are available. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in 0–40°F conditions.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily protein processing, including knife and saw work.
• Follow customer requirements for cuts, portions, and packaging.
• Carefully pick, check, and prepare customer orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Ensure products meet quality and customer specifications.
• Operate processing equipment safely and properly.
• Clean and maintain processing equipment daily.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
• Perform other warehouse and processing duties as assigned.
