The J.R. Simplot Company in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the High Bay Freezer to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, troubleshoot issues, and help maximize uptime.

You will work in a cold environment, use hydraulics, pneumatics and control systems, and document repair work while collaborating with plant teams to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics; basic electrical repair in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings and write detailed repair reports.
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs (preferred).
• Physical requirements include lifting, climbing ladders, and working in cold environments.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on high-bay freezer and warehouse mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical system failures, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, and other plant equipment.
• Ensure maximum equipment efficiency, uptime, and system reliability.
• Maintain and repair equipment in cold environments (as low as -5°F).
• Write clear and detailed repair and maintenance reports.
