Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join the Cold Chain Technical Sales team, focusing on End User customers. You will learn Copeland Cold Chain controls and services, and collaborate with Strategic Account Executives to ensure customers specify, apply, implement and expand Copeland controls from a technical sales perspective.

You will work with across Americas teams and Product/Engineering in Kennesaw, Belluno, Eden Prairie, and Sidney to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
2 years in food retail/foodservice product development, engineering, field service or technical support.
Knowledge of Copeland control systems for Food Retail/Foodservice (E3, Site Supervisor, distributed controls).
Hands-on experience with Food Retail/Foodservice Building Management Software.
Demonstrated success in a technical role in food retail/foodservice or similar industry.
Travel availability up to 40-50%.

Responsibilities

Serve as trusted customer partner and technical subject matter expert for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls.
Understand End User applications and coordinate with teams to specify, apply and implement Copeland controls.
Collaborate with sales, solution architecture, and engineering teams on customer engagements.
Create high level technical requirements for End User opportunities, including BOM and control panels.
Ensure successful deployment of controls and services with Copeland execution teams.
Communicate End User requirements with EORs during design and project phases.
