Job summary

Staffing Connection Inc. is seeking an Electric Pallet Jack Operator for our warehouse in New Jersey. You will transport freight with electric pallet jacks or forklifts, perform pre-shift safety inspections, and ensure accurate inventory data entry in RF systems.

The role requires attention to GMP-like safety practices and efficient, reliable teamwork to support production flow. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and 6–12 months warehouse experience; a TFI/OSHA forklift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid TFI or OSHA forklift/power jack certification required or able to obtain.
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
• Proficiency with manual/electric pallet jack operation; packing/loading experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Equipment operation: Safely operate electric pallet jacks, hi-lifts, or forklifts to move, stack, and maneuver materials.
• Safety inspections: Perform daily pre-shift safety checks on equipment and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
• Freight handling: Locate and count incoming freight, transport to storage racks, and perform QA checks.
• Inventory management: Use RF units/handhelds to enter product data and rotate date-sensitive stock.
• Maintenance: Remove batteries for recharging and maintain a clean work area.
• Team support: Work collaboratively to support department needs and assist supervisors.
