Job description

We are a leading state tax consulting and services firm looking for a highly motivated dynamic Sales Professional. This position is responsible for cold-calling business owners and C-Level executives across the country. You will be discussing our sales tax products and services. Your goal is to inform prospects about a recent US Supreme Court Case allowing states to force companies to collect tax even when they are not located in the state. You will explain what we do and sell our services or in the alternative drive prospects to one of our free webinars where they can learn more about the new sales tax reality.

Location is not important as Interns work remotely. However, due to increasingly tough labor and tax laws, we no longer hire in the states of Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, and Washington. This position is not open to anyone outside the US. This position is not open to anyone outside the US.

Experience & Aptitude Requirements:
  • Must have documented recent success of selling services or solutions.
  • Must have recent two-plus years of heavy outgoing cold-calling experience.
  • Must have the ability to make 100-plus calls a day.
  • Must have a burning desire to succeed.
  • Must have an open mind and be able to follow directions.
  • Must have a quiet organized place to work from with high-speed internet.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • We have clients all over the world, so bilingual is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of sales tax is a plus but not required.
  • A college degree is preferred but we will make exceptions for hungry candidates.

About the Company:
We are passionate about state tax. Our mission is to educate and assist companies, CPAs, and other tax professionals to understand multi-state nuances, to successfully avoid or limit audit assessments.

You must have a quiet place with good internet access. This is a full-time W2 position. It is not part-time work. We have an open territory system and you can call anywhere in the US. There are advancement opportunities available. This position is currently open to US residents..

If you do not like cold calling do not apply. This is a 100% cold call position.

Base Salary $36,000. The commission is 10-30% of projects sold. Many projects have residual income. The first-year potential is $85,000, the second year is $125,000 and the third year is $175,000 plus.

This is not a part-time job. This is also not an entry-level sales job.
