Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Coin Teller to verify coin deposits and ensure accuracy against customer declarations. You will operate sorting equipment, cross-check deposits with manifests, and log verified coins into our tracking system.

The role requires forklifts training in the position and strong math, organizational, and detail-oriented skills to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must learn how to use a forklift and certify in its operation.
• Position requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Good math skills accompanied by strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Verifies coin deposits against the customer’s declared amounts.
• Operates a jet scan to sort coins by denomination and verify deposits.
• Compares coin bags to the deposit manifest to ensure all deposits are accounted for.
• Enters verified coin into CashTrak or other tracking system.
• Reports deposit totals to supervisor and customer.
• Notifies supervisor of any problems with coin deposits or setup.
