Machine Operators in the Coiling department will be responsible for the following:
Maintain setups on all machines by replacing perishable tooling. Clean, color, sort, and package inserts as required. Inspect own work to prescribed quality standards, meet production standards, and observe all safety and housekeeping requirements.
Report immediately all problems and difficulties. Execute accurately all necessary records including counting and recording time. Operate any inspection or production reporting systems.
Promptly alert supervisors or other intermediaries to problems or factors which exert disruptive or delaying influences on the operation.
Requirements:
Essential functions: Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted, stand/walk throughout the day (approximately 90% of the time). Must be able to bend, stoop, reach as needed to load the machine. Manual dexterity required.
This is a 2nd shift position. Core hours are 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Up to 10 hours overtime is mandatory during the week. 10-hour day schedule (Mon - Fri) is 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. Saturday overtime is voluntary.
