Job summary

R&L Spring is seeking a Machinist / Coil Forming Operator in Lake Geneva, WI on the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am). You will operate coiling and wire forming equipment, ensure quality, and document production data to support on-time delivery.

The role requires reading work instructions, BP diagrams, and handling finished parts with care in a fast-paced environment. Join a family-owned team with strong safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing, machining, or semi-automated production equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and customer blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and adjust equipment.
• Proficiency with inspection measuring equipment and data input on tablets.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate coiling, wire form and four slide machines.
• Monitor machines for failures and notify setup personnel of issues.
• Perform in-process quality checks and record data.
• Notify supervisor of nonconformances.
• Complete necessary paperwork and traveler documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Handle packing of completed parts.
• Follow R&L workmanship and safety policies.
