Woodward Inc. is seeking a Coil Winder to operate basic machines and perform deburring or light assembly in an industrial setting. You will report to the manufacturing supervisor and work under close supervision with limited decision-making.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package including base pay, bonus opportunities, 401(k) matching, stock contribution, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required.
  • The ability to see details clearly to accomplish tasks safely and efficiently.
  • May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision exams; physical activity including walking, standing, bending, and lifting may be required.

Responsabilités

  • Communicates information to others about project status and updates; reviews item status in MRP and ensures items are logged/closed out based on status.
  • Documents non-conformance and dispositions using non-conformance forms.
  • Cleans and maintains measuring instruments and test equipment; treats and inspects/tests parts per work instructions.
  • Follows all departmental safety rules and wears required safety gear.
  • Completes and reviews product paperwork, ensuring paperwork is present and data entered correctly.
  • Verifies calibration of equipment and expiration dates.
  • Measures specific dimensions per work instruction and records data.
  • Performs curing process of parts and inspects according to visual requirements.
  • May apply hot dip or touch up method for stacks and return paths.
