Responsibilities

• Test, repair, and track leaks and defects to ensure coil quality.
• Lead, monitor, and motivate the testing area staff.
• Prioritize coils to test based on code priority and ship date.
• Install MPTs, caps, and Schrader on coils per BOM.
• Attach clamps for proper weight distribution during testing.
• Submerge coils to inspect for leaks and braze if needed.
• Pressurize coils to specified PSI and maintain test parameters.
• Use Inficon helium sniffer to detect leaks.
• Label coils per customer requirements and log results in system.
• Perform PMs and troubleshoot equipment; communicate improvements to maintenance.
