Job summary

Acerinox is seeking an AP1 exit operator to manage the coil line, ensuring operation aligns with quality and productivity goals. The role emphasizes adhering to work instructions, safety rules, and effective communication with upstream/downstream teams.

The position requires basic education, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced industrial setting. Physical ability to work in a plant and follow safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to learn, adapt and retain information.
• Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor AP1 coil line to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Check coil schedules, identify correct coil and enter machine sheets.
• Observe for defects and communicate issues to line personnel.
• Coordinate with SKP operator and perform tasks at SKP as required.
• Ensure proper interleaving paper and cores are available and used.
• Follow all safety rules and maintain housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned and participate in continuous improvement.
