Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Coil Build Operator to contribute to the coil manufacturing process in our manufacturing team. You will assist in setup, follow prints and procedures, and help troubleshoot to meet production schedules while maintaining safety standards.

Applicants should be able to read blueprints, perform basic measurements, and work with related equipment. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and may require varying shift times to ensure continuous operations.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to make mathematic calculations, comprehend decimals and read blue prints. Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues.
• Must be able to read blue prints.
• Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs. Majority of position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required.
• This job requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing.
• This position requires mental and visual alertness and self-motivation.
• Must be able to work any hours required.
• Assist in personnel training as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and set up equipment as required.
• Identify and locate required tooling and ensure work is correct.
• Read blue prints and understand a bill of material; use measuring devices.
• Pull parts for next order; set up sheetmetal; install fins and lace tubes per drawing.
