Job summary

Boys Town’s Cognitive and Sensory Imaging Lab (CASI Lab) in Omaha seeks a full-time Research Assistant. Applicants should have a BA/BS in psychology, neuroscience, biology, or related field, with interest in research and possibly experience in child/adolescent development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of one year of college coursework or equivalent experience required.
• CITI certification within 30 days of transfer or hire is required.
• Bilingual skills may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in stimuli preparation and test procedure development.
• Assist in research tool prep, data collection, and procedures with human or animal subjects.
• Maintain safety procedures and documentation of lab conditions and results.
• Adhere to lab safety standards and calibrate/maintain equipment.
• Record test conditions and results in detail.
• Assist in data collection and analysis; report findings to investigators.
• Assist in design and maintenance of electronic lab devices and interfaces.
• Recruit, schedule, and test participants in studies as needed.
• Use computers to analyze and plot experimental results.
