Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System invites an academic cognitive neurologist to join the Memory Care Clinic and the KU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC). This 1.0 FTE faculty role blends clinical care with research in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, including biomarker-informed diagnosis and anti-amyloid therapy.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Residency training in Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Memory Care Clinic assessments and care for patients with cognitive disorders.
• Lead and participate in ADRC clinical trials as site PI or sub-investigator.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Develop telehealth workflows and collaborate with rural providers.
