Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center Alzheimer’s Disease Center seeks a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator to support brain health initiatives, dementia care pathways, and interdisciplinary collaboration across KU Health System partners. The role focuses on nursing judgment, care coordination, and education to improve assessment, referral, and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Kansas.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience with clinical research regulations (CFR, GCP, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing consultation and care coordination.
• Guide referrals to KU Memory Care, e-consult, and Cognitive Care Network resources.
• Document clinical support and care coordination activities in program records.
• Educate clinicians and staff on brain health assessment and dementia care pathways.
• Support onboarding and education for new partner sites and care teams.
