Management & Training Corporation (MTC) in Dayton, TX, is hiring for a position focused on cognitive intervention education and life skills instruction for inmates. The role involves coordinating activities with other departments to maximize resource use in alignment with MTC and Texas Department of Criminal Justice directives.

The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in related fields is preferred, with experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Provide didactic sessions according to curricula within the program.
• Present cognitive intervention education and life skills classes to inmates.
• Guide inmates in complying with facility rules and regulations.
• Supervise inmate work functions per program policies; report noncompliance.
• Monitor inmate behavior and report incidents to treatment team.
• Maintain inmate records and compile workload statistics and reports.
• Promote positive social skills and provide feedback to staff.
