Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Neurologist to join the Department of Cognitive & Behavioral Neurosciences in Sacramento, CA. The role includes teaching, research, and opportunities to work with emerging technologies in cognitive care.
Ideal candidates have a background in dementia, neurodegeneration, biomarkers, or health-services research and are interested in leadership pathways within the Neuroscience Service Line.
Qualifications
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology
- Eligibility for California medical licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient- and family-centered care for individuals with cognitive disorders
Responsibilities
- Join the Department of Cognitive & Behavioral Neurosciences within the SMG Neuroscience Service Line
- Participate in teaching, curriculum development, and mentorship for the Neurology Residency Program
- Engage in research in dementia, neurodegeneration, biomarkers, outcomes, or health-services research
- Collaborate on technology-enabled care, including cognitive screening and remote monitoring
- Explore leadership opportunities, including pathway to Department Chair role
