Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Program Coordinator II to coordinate research on cognitive aging, MCI and dementia. The role leads psychometrist clinical assessments, manages materials, and trains team members, while guiding data management and case report forms development.

The candidate will supervise junior coordinators, contribute to data quality, and support grant work. A Master’s in psychology and CRC certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology or related clinical discipline.
• At least 1 year work experience as a psychometrist.
• At least 3 years of experience working in program coordination.
• CRC certification is preferred.
• Experience with older adults with and without cognitive impairment.
• Psychometrist experience in both clinical and research neuropsychology settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research studies focused on cognitive aging, MCI, and dementia, including recruitment, scheduling, and consenting, and conduct study procedures.
• Conduct clinical assessments with research participants.
• Supervise junior-level program coordinators and train team members on study procedures and assessment administration.
• Advise on development of case report forms and databases; implement data quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Manage materials for clinical assessments and maintain training manuals and SOPs.
• Prepare and present data at study team meetings.
• Support safeguarding rights and well-being of vulnerable populations.
• Assist with grant proposals, study design, and organizing study results.
