Job summary

Taleo, located in Wisconsin, seeks an Auxiliary Operator to support a cogeneration power plant. You will operate and maintain gas turbine generators and associated systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role requires technical education and power plant experience, with responsibilities including chemical analysis, troubleshooting, and coordinating with contractors. Overtime may be required and training will be provided.

Qualifications

Requires AS in Technical Science or equivalent plus 1–3 years of power plant related experience.
Preferred cogeneration or combined cycle experience where stated or demonstrated proficiency.
Background in chemistry and ability to follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain all assigned plant equipment and grounds safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to maintain optimal operating conditions.
Perform chemical analysis on plant fluid systems and manage chemical treatments.
Conduct routine and nonroutine maintenance to maximize system reliability.
Receive, store, and issue equipment and materials needed for operation and maintenance.
Collaborate with contractors and supervise temporary personnel as needed.
