Job summary

Bosselman Enterprises seeks a Coffee Shop Manager to lead daily shop operations, ensuring high-quality beverages, food, and customer service. You will supervise baristas, schedule staff, manage inventory, and support convenience store duties as needed.

You will drive performance, uphold safety standards, and coach the team toward exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous management experience in a coffee shop/restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English and lead a team effectively.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work early mornings, holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.
• Food safety certification or ability to obtain certification within training period.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, hires, trains, mentors and manages performance of baristas and staff.
• Schedules team members to meet business needs and labor budgets.
• Conducts performance reviews and provides ongoing coaching.

• Handles cash, deposits and cost-control to support profitability.

The Coffee Shop Manager oversees the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, high-quality beverages and food, and efficient staff management. This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and a passion for coffee culture to create a welcoming environment for customers and a productive, motivated team. The Coffee Shop Manager will also be cross-trained to support convenience store operations and assist with store functions as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This role position provides direct supervision to a team of staff members.

Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed)

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous management experience in a coffee shop or restaurant preferred.

• Basic math and computer skills for POS and reporting purposes.
• Maintain a professional, positive attitude.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Food safe certified through accredited program recognized by the state in which the store operates/ability to become certified within the training period.
