In this role, you'll craft beverages, keep the coffee shop stocked and spotless, and make sure every customer walks away with exactly what they came in for, and a smile to go with it.If you enjoy connecting with people, love a fast-paced environment, and take pride in doing things well, this could be a great fit for you.**What You'll Do**No two shifts are exactly the same, but here's what you can expect:* Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, learning their names, and going the extra mile to make every visit a positive one* Take customer orders at the counter and over the phone, and assist with finding products and answering questions* Prepare and replenish coffee shop products as needed throughout your shift* Monitor product freshness and appearance and follow or develop a production list to stay ahead of daily needs* Handle food safely and keep the work area clean, neat, and up to department standards at all times* Check in product, put product away, and review invoices as needed* Run the department register and process payments where applicable* Remove trash promptly and maintain a tidy department* Work alongside your teammates to ensure a smooth, positive experience for every customer* Maintain compliance with Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies* Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed* You'll receive direction and support from: Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home, Food Service Director, and Coffee Shop Department Manager**Your Skills**You don't need prior experience for this role!
