Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices regarding expiration dates and quality control.
• Ability to work variable hours such as early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Necessary Physical Requirements

Individuals will be required to stand for extended periods of time and push or pull heavy equipment/supplies. In addition, squatting, kneeling, sitting, bending, reaching and climbing are also required. May lift of push up to 50lbs, such as freight, coffee supplies, boxes, etc.

The job is performed in a coffee shop setting with exposure to hot liquids and requires extensive use of coffee and espresso machinery. Exposure to hot water and cleaning chemicals or solvents. Occasional use of computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern coffee shop setting

Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
