Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Coffee Shop Attendant is to prepare coffee to Marriott standards, ensuring quality and freshness. This role involves creating a positive first impression with a warm smile, addressing guests by name when possible, changing coffee every two hours, stocking shelves, cleaning, and arranging food displays to promote sales. Your goal is to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for coffee shop patrons.

• Prepare coffee to PCH standards, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Change coffee every two hours to maintain optimal taste.
• Stock shelves, counters, or tables with appropriate items.
• Create attractive food displays to promote sales.
• Greet customers warmly, address them by name, and offer assistance.
• Handle payment transactions using the POS system following proper procedures.
• Maintain the correct bank amount for accurate transactions.
• Record and document cash at the end of shifts for accurate accounting.
• Track sales and manage inventory for smooth operations.
• Follow proper food handling techniques for safety and hygiene.
• Adhere to company and federal regulations regarding gratuities and ABC board requirements.
