Peet’s Coffee in Brooklyn Center, MN is seeking a Production Technician – Roaster to operate roasting and grinding equipment, monitor roast profiles, and uphold food safety and quality.
You will collaborate with the team, own cleanliness and maintenance, and participate in cuppings to ensure every roast meets our standards. The role supports career growth in coffee production with training provided.

Working in a fast‑paced production environment, you’ll combine attention to detail with technical skill to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Schedule: This position works 3rd Shift, Monday- Friday 11:30pm-7:00am Pay: $20-22/hr
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, in addition to the following: Able to work 8‑hour shifts while standing, lifting, bending, and reaching. Must be able to work on your feet for over 9 straight hours. Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to lift 80 pounds 20% of the shift. Must be able to endure constant leaning and bending during shift. Must be able to handle/move up to 750‑pound bins on casters. The environmental exposures for this position are: Airborne particles, fumes, high places, moving parts, muscular strain, noise, odors, high temperatures. These physical requirements must be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation. This description outlines the role’s essential functions but may evolve with business needs.
The target annual base salary range for this position is $20 – $22 per hour. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education, certifications or licenses, other legitimate non‑discriminatory business factors, and the geographic location of the role. In addition to base pay, individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
