Peet’s Coffee in Minnesota is seeking a Production Technician – Roaster to operate roasting equipment, monitor profiles, and uphold quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work third shift, 11:30pm–7:00am, earning $20–$22 per hour, with training and growth opportunities across coffee production on a close-knit roasting team.

In this hands‑on manufacturing role, you’ll operate roasting equipment, monitor roast profiles, maintain quality standards, and ensure every batch meets our commitment to excellence.

Required:

• A hands-on, detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for coffee and craftsmanship.

• Someone who values safety, collaboration, and doing things the right way—every time.

Preferred:

• A strong interest—or prior experience—in the coffee industry (barista, roaster, or similar) is a plus. Prior experience with Caribou or Peet’s Coffee is a big plus.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Exposures:

The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, in addition to the following:

• Able to work8-hourshifts while standing, lifting, bending, and reaching
• Must be able to work on your feetforover 9 straight hours
• Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive andlift upto 30lbson a regular basis
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds 20% of the shift
• Must be able to endure constant leaning and bending during shift
• Must be able to handle/move up to750-poundbins on casters

The environmental exposures for this position are:

• Airborne particles, fumes, high places, moving parts, muscular strain, noise, odors,high temperatures

The target annual base salary range for this position is $20 – $22 per hour.The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education, certifications or licenses, other legitimate non-discriminatory business factors, and the geographic location of the role.

In addition to base pay, individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
