Job summary

Homebase, Inc. is seeking a hands-on team member to support our in-house coffee program. You will roast, package, stock, and assist customers while ensuring quality and a welcoming experience for every guest.

The role covers operations, facilities, brand, and cashier duties, requiring reliable attendance, ability to lift up to 150 lbs, and weekend availability. Training and participation in community events are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, organized, responsible and flexible.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, squat and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Roast, stock, and display all items in the coffee department.
• Clearly label backstock with names and dates for easy restocking.
• Restock shelves, rotate products, and face merchandise for clean displays.
• Receive deliveries, check for accuracy, and safely stock items.
• Operate POS systems accurately, including cash handling and basic POS troubleshooting.
• Keep workstation and roasting room clean; follow safe food handling guidelines.
• Assist customers with product questions, recommendations, and tasting samples.
• Support events and maintain attractive, accurate signs and shelf tags.
