Job summary

Blue Bottle Coffee in Sacramento is hiring a full-time Packaging Associate reporting to the Packaging Leader. The schedule runs Sunday-Thursday 1:00pm-9:30pm and you will ensure daily production orders are completed and shipped by coordinating with the production team.

You will train teammates on packaging tasks, lead a small crew, and print labels for Domestic and International shipments while maintaining logs and inventory. You’ll uphold food safety and quality standards daily.

Qualifications

• 1+ year production experience, preferably in coffee.
• Basic computer skills including opening, saving and sending files; email; basic MS Word/Google Suite.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily coffee production orders are complete and shipped each day with the production team.
• Train production team on packaging tasks using approved content and on-the-job training.
• Lead a team and drive systemic improvements to ease workload and increase clarity.
• Use shipping software to create/print Domestic and International labels.
• Maintain opening/closing checklists and logs; lead daily team huddles.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder quantities for production items.
• Stock and organize materials; label and organize packaging for orders.
• Fulfill expedited shipping by the required pickup time.
• Follow Food Safety, Quality, and GMP rules and regulations.
