Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to provide coding and computer science enrichment services for K–12 students at partner schools. This is a contractor role, not an employee position, with assignments varying by school and schedule.

Typical hours are 1–4 instructional service hours per week after school, with programs commonly running about 10 weeks. Compensation usually starts at $50+ per hour, depending on assignment scope and location.

Qualifications

• Experience with coding, programming or computer science preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring school-age students preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging coding and technology sessions for K–12 students.
• Introduce foundational programming concepts through project-based learning.
• Adapt activities based on student levels and site requirements.
• Support students in creating coding projects, games, websites or apps where applicable.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and age-appropriate learning environment.
• Communicate assignment-related needs with Concorde and school staff as appropriate.
• Complete a session completion form after each scheduled session.
• Follow site safety, visitor, and student-protection procedures.
