Job summary

Emplify Health is hiring a Coding Specialist for Ambulatory Services focused on Ophthalmology. This remote role requires living within a reasonable driving distance to La Crosse, WI and offers 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, dayshift.

The position supports care teams across Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota as part of a not-for-profit healthcare network. The ideal candidate holds a coding certification and at least one year of coding experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of coding experience in a healthcare facility or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree desired.
• Coding Certification required: CPC, CPC-A, CCA, COC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT.

We are seeking a Coding Specialist, Ambulatory Services, to join our growing and thriving organization.

What’s Available:

• 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly), full-time
• Monday-Friday, dayshift hours
• Location: We only accept candidates from WI, IA, and MN.
• This is a Remote position; however candidates must live within a reasonable driving distance to La Crosse, WI.
• Focus: Ophthalmology

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required - associate’s degree desired
• Coding Certification Required - CPC, CPC-A, CCA, COC, CCS, CCS-P, or RHIA or RHIT.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare facility, healthcare business office or equivalent education.
• 1 year of Coding experience desired
