Job summary

LHH is seeking a Coding Manager in New Jersey to lead Coding and Health Information Management teams in a non-production leadership role focused on productivity and operational efficiency within Revenue Cycle.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, partner with supervisors, and drive growth and scalability while maintaining high team engagement and accountability across the coding and HIM functions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations.
• Background in Revenue Cycle, Coding, HIM, or related healthcare operations.
• CPC, RHIT, or RHIA certifications required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to drive team performance and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Coding and HIM staff performance and development.
• Establish and monitor productivity standards to prevent backlogs.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Promote a high-performance, engaged team culture.

Job description

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Coding Manager to lead its Coding and Health Information Management (HIM) teams. This is a non-production leadership role focused on driving team performance, productivity, and operational efficiency within Revenue Cycle.

Position Overview

This individual will oversee day-to-day operations of Coding and HIM, ensuring strong throughput, accountability, and team engagement. The role will partner closely with supervisors and cross-functional leadership to support continued growth and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Coding and HIM staff, including performance oversight, coaching, and corrective action

• CPC, RHIT, or RHIA certifications required
