As a Product Coordinator in our "Apps For Good" program, you will be instrumental in shaping the vision and trajectory of projects that blend meaningful impact with cutting-edge technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Product Owner within a Scrum team, skillfully managing the product backlog and crafting user stories to ensure the team's efforts align with project objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to navigate projects from inception to successful launch, guaranteeing they deliver tangible value to users and the organization.
  • Delve deep into user insights, product trends, and potential barriers, transforming intricate challenges into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Bridge communication between student teams, tech mentors, and community partners
  • Organize and participate in all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Cultivate an environment of innovation and engagement, promoting brainstorming and collaboration, while maintaining a steadfast focus on delivering impactful and feasible products.
  • Evaluate product outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our "Apps For Good" program

Minimum Expectations

  • Availability: Dedicate a minimum of 08 hours per week to the program
  • Collaboration: Actively engage with team members, participate in all Scrum ceremonies, and uphold a culture of transparency and effective communication
  • Commitment: Demonstrate a fervent passion for technology, societal impact, and lifelong learning
  • The applicant must reside in the United States or Canada

We're Looking For Profiles With

  • A solid grasp of product development life cycles and agile methodologies
  • A user-first approach, adept at integrating user feedback, market analysis, and technical limitations into coherent product strategies
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred)
  • Experience with product management tools and techniques is a plus
  • Exceptional communication abilities, capable of conveying complex ideas succinctly and engaging productively with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
  • A strong desire to learn and advance in the realm of product management, coupled with an enthusiasm for social impact and technology
