  • Minimum of five years of coding experience in a relevant area.
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program is a plus.

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the clinical documentation team to review inpatient accounts and identify documentation improvement opportunities
- Assess documentation components impacting quality metrics, including DRG, PDx, secondary Dx, PCS, and POA
- Ensure coding practices comply with national coding guidelines and regulations
- Develop and deliver educational strategies to clinical teams and medical staff
- Analyze data and construct appropriate action plans to improve quality outcomes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- RHIT, RHIA, or CCS Certification
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist
- Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare-related field (consideration for candidates currently enrolled)
- Minimum of five years of coding experience in a relevant area
- Strong personal computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
