Coder/Medical Billing Associate - Join Our Team!

(On-Site in Fair Lawn, NJ - $20 - $25 - Medical Billing Associate)

(Please note, pay scale may differ for experienced Certified Professional Coders with 5+ years of experience.)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated full-time Medical Billing Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on medical billing experience and understands the insurance billing and collections process.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Submit and follow up on medical claims.
• Handle denials, appeals, and reconsiderations.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Post payments and resolve outstanding balances.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and payments.
• Workers' Compensation (WC) billing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Assist with other billing and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) preferred.
• Previous medical billing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims and billing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
