Savista, LLC is seeking an experienced medical coder to review and submit 64 encounters per day, focusing on evaluation and management, procedures, testing, hospital services, and denials. The role requires strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines and the ability to discuss coding with providers in a collaborative, professional manner.

Candidates should have 3+ years of coding experience and be comfortable navigating electronic medical records to support accurate billing.

Formación

• 3+ years of medical coding experience.
• Experience coding E/M, procedures and hospital services.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Explain findings and guidelines to providers during daily workflow.
• Review CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 codes for accuracy before submission.
• Navigate EMR systems to support billing and coding processes.
• Understand clinical documentation as it relates to coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
• Map and link diagnoses for E/M and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with providers during querying.

Coders are responsible for review and submission of 64 encounters per day or 8 per hour related to evaluation & management, procedures, testing, hospital services and denials daily. Must be very comfortable with discussing coding and guidelines with providers in a collaborative and professional manner. Able to articulate guidance for coding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes and evaluation management new guidelines for office and hospital setting.

Job Description: 3 plus years of experience is required.
