Faith Health seeks a Health Information coder to abstract and code patient records using ICD-10 and CPT nomenclatures. The role requires maintaining coding accuracy and proper sequencing for optimal reimbursement, with regular review of medical records for completeness and data abstraction.
Responsibilities include documenting coding issues to the HIM Director, following coding guidelines, and ensuring thorough medical record documentation.

The requirements listed below must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.
Associate Degree preferred.
Higher complexity level of coding experience required.
Combination of 1-2 years of education and experience in position field required.
Language Skills - ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.
Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding required.
Current RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, LPN, or RN license/certification required.
