Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Coder and Claims Specialist on Medisoftto join our remote team. The ideal candidate must have proven experience with Medisoft medical billing software, a strong understanding of medical coding, and expertise in following up on complex and unresolved insurance claims. Fluency in English is essential for clear communication with insurance companies and internal teams. This role requires more than basic insurance inquiries - you will manage end-to-end billing processes, ensure accurate coding, and proactively resolve claim denials to maximize timely reimbursements. Candidates lacking Medisoft experience or in-depth knowledge of billing and coding processes will not be considered, as extensive online training is not feasible. We value professionals who can independently handle billing intricacies and contribute meaningfully to our revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately code patient visits and procedures using Medisoft.
• Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely payment.
• Investigate and resolve claim denials or payment issues.
• Communicate with insurance companies to clarify claim statuses.
• Maintain detailed records of claims and billing activities.
• Manage end-to-end medical billing using Medisoft software with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits to ensure accurate billing.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proficient in Medisoft medical billing software.

• Ability to identify and resolve claim denials and discrepancies.
