Job summary

L&L Fabrication, INC is seeking a Welder II for the Greeley Weld Shop to perform code and non-code welding with agility and teamwork. The role requires welding to code and non-code specifications across common and uncommon materials, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The Welder II will handle GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS, assist in developing the team environment, and adapt to shifting business needs while maintaining precision and accountability.

Qualifications

• Code welding experience per ASME Sec. 8/9, B31.3, AWS D1.1, AWS D17.1.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, models and blueprints.
• Good math skills related to welding tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new welding methods.
• Strong safety focus and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Weld Non-Code and Code articles to satisfactory quality.
• Perform GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS.
• Weld to specification and meet 100% NDT requirements as needed.
• Process materials with accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate oxy-fuel, plasma, saw, mag-drill and grinder.
• Use shop and personal tooling safely and appropriately.
• Drive a forklift safely.
• Participate in a team setting to develop welding/fabrication skills.
• Be a SAFE team member and propose improvements.
• Plan work orders and gather required tools and materials.
