Qualifications

• Must read and understand work orders, safety rules and policy manuals in English.
• Reading and interpreting measurements using metric and English units.
• Capable of converting decimals and fractions for production processes.
• Experience operating overhead crane / forklift is required.
• Proficient with hand tools including grinders.

Responsibilities

• Position and prepare work pieces for processing.
• Operate machines to cut, burn, saw, grind, bend or press materials.
• Use gauges, calipers, squares, and rulers for inspection.
• Review blueprints and tooling instructions to determine specs and sequences.
• Install and align punches or blades in machine beds.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Coordinate material handling and crane operation for inventories.
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance and tool changes.
• Train less experienced workers when needed.
