Woods Cross City is seeking a Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer to uphold municipal codes and work with residents and businesses to ensure a safe, well-maintained community.

The role is up to 29 hours per week (1508 hours per year) and is at-will; the department values proactive problem-solving and collaborative enforcement. This is a non-benefited position in a small city environment with opportunities to contribute to community development.

  • Experience in code enforcement, community planning, public administration, or a related field—or currently enrolled in relevant coursework.

Join Our Team – Code Enforcement Officer (Part-Time)
Woods Cross City Community Development Department

Are you passionate about community development, problem-solving, and public service? Woods Cross City is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and community-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Code Enforcement Officer. This is a dynamic opportunity to work directly with residents and businesses to ensure our community remains safe, well-maintained, and vibrant.

Position Overview

As a Code Enforcement Officer, you will play a key role in upholding Woods Cross City’s municipal codes and ordinances. This is an at-will, working-level position that involves up to 29 hours per week/or 1508 hours per year. You’ll be responsible for investigating potential violations and working collaboratively with property owners and businesses to achieve compliance in areas such as building codes, zoning, signage, weeds, snow removal, and more.
