Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years as Brevard County Code Enforcement Specialist I with required program milestones and evaluations.
• Completion of two Brevard County leadership courses and a passing score on each phase examination.
• Current Notary Public certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive complaints from the public and provide information related to ordinances.
• Assist in the preparation of code violation cases for Special Magistrate hearings.
• Support activities of the Code Enforcement Office within the Planning and Development Department.
