Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a highly experienced driver for a logistics/automotive environment in Ohio. The role requires 23+ years of driving experience, a valid Code 14 license with a clean record, and familiarity with handling automotive components, trailers, and tie-downs.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling tools. Responsibilities include transporting vehicles, moving stock and machinery between sites, and ensuring all delivery documents are completed

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 23 years of professional driving experience within a logistics, automotive, automotive transport, or manufacturing environment.
• Licensing: Valid drivers license (Code 14 non-negotiable) with a clean driving record (Code 14 required and if operating heavy flatbeds/trailers).
• Automotive knowledge: Familiarity with handling automotive components, trailers, flatbeds, and vehicle tie-down/towing techniques.
• Physical capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) unassisted and comfortably operate material handling tools (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks).
• Transport customer vehicles, fleet vehicles
• Transfer stock, machinery items, and daily consumable supplies between different company sites, workshops, and storage facilities
• Ensure all paperwork, physical inspection forms, delivery notes, and signatures are properly executed and documented during collections and drop-offs.
