Job Description: Prep Cooks are essential for ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly. Your responsibilities include organizing ingredients and tools in advance and during service, such as chopping, breaking down, cutting, weighing, mixing, washing, storing, and unloading supplies. You play a vital role in maintaining an efficient kitchen routine.

  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and training
  • Prepare menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Manage product rotation and stock levels to prevent disruptions
  • Assist with station setup and restocking
  • Transport items and assist with deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen during and after shifts
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Stand and walk for entire shift; reach, bend, and stoop as needed
  • Communicate effectively in English, read recipes, labels, and POS orders
  • Operate kitchen machinery safely
  • Lift up to 50 lbs., handle hot and sharp equipment safely
  • Work in high-temperature, damp environments
  • Assist with dishwashing and cleaning tasks
  • Complete food safety certification as required
Additional Benefits and Job Details:
  • Work schedule: 5 days/week with 2 days off
