The Role:

The Foundation Room Cocktail Server is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests in a nightclub environment with a cheerful attitude.

What You Need:

Required:

• State or County Licensee or Certification Requirement / Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience serving in an upscale dining and nightlife venue
• Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations and safe, responsible alcohol service
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently with an upbeat, friendly attitude; read guests to anticipate needs
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Flexible schedule and ability to work late hours
• Adherence to Dress and Appearance Guidelines
• Knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes, garnishes, POS systems
• Ability to deal with intoxicated guests positively and safely
• 2 years bottle service experience
• 3 years’ experience interacting positively with people
• Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms

Preferred:

• POS knowledge
• Interest in wines, spirits, and Mixology
• Interest in Night Life
• Cash handling experience
• Experience recognizing valid IDs
• Experience in a live music environment

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

• Fast-paced, loud, and stressful environment
• Extended standing and working on your feet
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs with proper techniques

What You’ll Do:

• Recognize Foundation Room Members, Live Nation Executives, VIPs to foster appreciation
• Follow upscale dining service steps with confidence
• Expertise in bottle and wine service
• Upsell and recommend food and beverages
• Guide guests through dining with recommendations
• Execute bottle service standards flawlessly
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Deal with intoxicated guests positively and safely
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs
• Communicate drink orders via POS, deliver drinks, circulate to maintain atmosphere
• Keep tables clean and clear, manage spills and obstacles
• Follow safety, sanitation, and housekeeping standards
• Verify guest IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service
• Process payments and voids per policy
• Attend pre-shift meetings
