Description

Position Summary

Responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, in multiple bars and restaurants. Primary duty will be to take and deliver drink and food orders efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to all applicable regulations and guidelines with alcohol services.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, creating a positive first impression.
• Accurately record drink orders into the POS system, avoiding verbal orders.
• Maintain professionalism and engage with guests to enhance their experience.
• Monitor and address signs of intoxication, handling situations tactfully and notifying supervisors.
• Set up and break down the cocktail area at shift start and end.
• Participate in daily meetings and complete required training.
• Support team collaboration to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain knowledge of services and local information to assist guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas.
• Upsell beverages and promote specials using suggestive selling techniques.
• Use guest names when known and provide courteous farewells.
• Adhere to uniform standards and health and safety guidelines.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service, including ID checks and refusing service when appropriate.
• Serve food items as required.
• Operate POS system correctly, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
• Maintain punctuality and attendance as per policy.

Additional Responsibilities

Provide excellent guest service, act as the initial contact for inquiries, and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Build respectful relationships with guests and colleagues.

Key Performance Indicators

Success will be measured against established KPIs, with feedback provided during performance reviews.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• At least 1 year of serving experience in a similar setting.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licenses/Certifications

• Must obtain and maintain NM Alcohol Server's License.
• Pass background and drug screenings.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Position involves physical activities like standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and handling objects.
