Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for a part‑time Cocktail Server position at Boise State, located at 1910 W University Drive, Boise, ID 83725. Online applications only.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and serve food as needed.
• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule & Compensation

Part‑time, event‑based shifts. Pay range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Because this position requires performing services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to work (e.g., winter and summer breaks). Any such periods during which you do not perform work on the Company’s behalf may be unpaid and considered a temporary layoff. Depending on business needs, you may be required to work year‑round, possibly at a different location during break periods.
