Job summary

Spruce Peak in Stowe, Vermont, seeks Cocktail Servers for the Upper Lobby Bar at The Lodge. You’ll engage guests, showcase Vermont craft beverages, and support a busy bar with a friendly, professional attitude.

Flexibility is key—days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be 18+, able to lift up to 40 pounds, and eligible for a VT liquor license. Eligible for tips on top of the $7.25 hourly rate, plus resort perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, restaurant, barback, or beverage service preferred.
• Interest in learning Vermont craft beverages and high-end hospitality.
• Strong communication and guest engagement skills.
• Team player with willingness to learn and collaborate.
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible for VT liquor license.
• Available on weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests and provide attentive beverage service.
• Sell and serve beverages, share knowledge about Vermont-made drinks.
• Create memorable experiences in the Bar and Lounge.
• Support bartending team by keeping the bar clean, organized, and stocked.

We are looking for Cocktail Servers for our Upper Lobby Bar at The Lodge at Spruce Peak.

This is a busy and exciting time for us. You will be responsible for engaging with our guests, selling and serving beverages, and creating memorable experiences in our Bar and Lounge. We are looking for outgoing individuals who enjoy hospitality and can confidently share knowledge about Vermont-made spirits, craft beers, ciders, and other local beverages. In addition to guest service, you will provide support to our bartending team by helping maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar. Experience is great, but professionalism, enthusiasm, and a great attitude are even more important. We offer flexible scheduling – Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate:

$7.25 plus tips, per hour

Qualifications

• Customer service, restaurant, barback, or beverage service experience is preferred.
• Passion for high-end hospitality and interest in learning about Vermont craft beverages, breweries, and distilleries.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner.
• Willingness to learn and work together in a team environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain your VT Liquor Control License on or before your first day.
• Must be available both weekend days and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
