Description

The beautiful and historic Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated Cocktail Server.

• Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, and present menus.
• Answer questions, suggest food and wine options, and memorize menu details.
• Use proper etiquette, write or memorize orders, and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Observe guests, fulfill requests, and manage checkout and payments.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining service areas, and notify management of guest complaints.
• Follow all safety and cash handling procedures, and use office software accurately.

Requirements

• Minimum lifting and pulling of 50 pounds.
• Physical activities including pushing, bending, and reaching.
• Hearing, writing, and typing skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
