Provides fast, friendly and courteous service to guest at all times while obtaining beverage orders. Ensure accurate and timely service of all orders by working with bar personnel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Provides prompt, courteous beverage service to guest while maintaining 20 minute rounds of assigned section.
- Provides an extraordinary experience for every guest.
- Ensure guests’ ordering and consuming alcoholic beverages are at least 21 years of
age. - Maintains and ensures checklist to completion including but not limited to opening and closing procedures.
- Accurately enter guest order information into POS system in a timely manner.
- Communicate beverage orders to bar personnel based on order call standards.
- Deliver beverage orders to customers throughout assigned section.
- Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions.
- Participates in liquor pull ensuring compliance with all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations.
- Attempt to limit problems related to guests’ excessive drinking by providing responsible alcohol service.
- Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, coasters, glassware, ashtrays, etc.
- Maintain assigned section by collecting used glassware, ashtrays and picking up trash.
- Required to participate in wearing special event uniform provided for Holidays and other special occasions.
- Provide amenities to guests such as matches and ashtrays.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Previous beverage experience preferred.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification
- Must have mathematical ability including ability to add and subtract. Must be able to present change correctly and have knowledge of guest change procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and under stress as the volume of business increases.
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 12- hour shifts. Mobility and dexterity to carry and serve a tray of beverages weighing 15 pounds required.
- Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lightening, vibration, crowds and air quality.
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Regular and punctual attendance is required.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as necessary.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 3 months experience directly related to the accountabilities specified.
